Yeah, I'm a bit in over my head. I am trying to rework my Billiken Joker kit into a posable Joker and to do so for a buddy also. If I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it twice and be done with it. It's a troublesome custom as there is no easy access to Joker doll clothes other than Mego or animated, and this has been threatening my brain for years. Now, I am after it. Him. Them... So, any ideas for cloth patterns or purple tuxes or anything that my aid in my quest? I am solving what I can as I can... This can be solved!!!!!! Anyway, that's what's up on my slab at the moment. All smiling face in my face of him...

An update on the two 12" Nicholson Jokers project... I have a wonderful seamstress lady that is making the suits for the Jokers. Coats, vests, shirts... Only thing now is, NO PANTS PATTERN!!! Still... I am on the lookout. Looking at real neckties, pants, shirts, any material with that purple/fuschia/turquoise plaid in a good tight "scale" pattern on it. Anybody see anything that remotely looks like it might work could be a big help. Why couldn't he have just had the regular purple and black striped pants! I'll post update pics of it/them soon. Stay tuned Batfans!

We can't wait to see em Les! I suppose fabric paints would not work, or even airbrushing the colors you want? just a thought.

I'll tell you what, I may have to make a yard of the pattern before I am finished. If I make enough, I will hang on to enough for this whole group if need be. Finding this stuff's murder!

If Will can oblige me again, I have two pictures, one of the actual Joker pants pattern and one of the Joker head I am currently working on. It pales to Henry's original sculpted Joker head, and it is a bad recast of the beret head from the Billiken kit, but It's the one I have in hand. I'm adding hair and better ears and all that and we'll see how it turns out. Comments welcome. The pants are a bummer so far though. If ANYONE finds the pattern, find a LOT of it. If it gets found, it'll be worth it's weight in gold, for all of us!

Good luck! And I'm the one needing the pattern! ;D
But, any help would be great. Don't forget that the pattern needs to be small enough to work in 12" scale.
In fact, I have worked out a deal where if I find enough material, the kind lady that's making the Joker figure clothes for me currently said she would be willing to make up a few sets of clothes, pants for sure, and I would make a limited number available for a very, very reasonable price/or trade to any interested members here first before I started selling any pairs or sets on Ebay.
That's how badly I need this material. Any help would be great! It can be cotton or silk or flannel or whatever material this pattern, or something as close to as possible ends up being, and as is possible.
And thanks for any efforts in advance to any who are on a lookout for me. Let me know what I can do or look for, for you. ;D
