Hey, guys - Sorry I've been MIA for a while. It's been super hectic for me with my day job. Just wanted to show off my 1/6 scale THX 1138 Police Officer. It is about 80% done. Not 100% movie accurate - but captures enough of the spirit. I'm making 3 copies - one for myself, and 2 for a couple clients. Note that the head appears a little large for the body in these pics - only because of the downward angle of the camera. And I'm making a custom 1/6 scale of the motorcycle from the movie also - to pair with my copy. The bike will probably be done during the holiday break since things are so busy during Q4 at work. I'll post better pics of the final figure. Enjoy! Tin

AWSOME!
That looks great, what body did you use? The stance is very natural.
Also envious of that Ultraman, I’ve always wanted that one. A friend has one very much like it that’s about 3 feet tall. I’m a bit of an Ultraman junkie.

Hey, Retroprops! It's been a while The body is a modified Medicom RAH Body. I padded it out in some areas underneath the leather suit. I've discovered that the key to being able to get a natural stance are in the ankles. On this figure - I went through the hassle of making the boots - so that I could have articulation in the ankles. It helps immensely. Thanks for the compliments! That Ultraman in the back is about 15 Inches tall and is from Kaiyodo of Japan. You can find them on eBay for about 20 USD. They're pretty neat and there are two versions. I'm also an Ultraman fan - I have 2 of the Medicom RAH figures. Highly recommended figures. Thanks. Tin

Thanks, Les!
I've meant to make this figure for a while - but kept forgetting to put it on my list.
Thanks, Willy! The movie "THX 1138" is worth checking out. Although you should try to see the original version first - instead of the Special Edition version that has added CG scenes. A few of the new scenes stink.
Hope you guys are enjoying your Thanksgiving break!

Thanks, Tomstoyz!
I'm excited about the bike project, too. I did some research and found out that the bikes in the movie were essentially custom bodies placed over 1972 Triumph Bonnevilles.
Luckily - NewRay made a 1/6 scale 1972 Bonneville - and I was able to get one off Ebay.
I just have to make the body. I want to have working headlights, too.
Will post pics when done.
