Then there was the ever loving Eric Draven.... This is one of the simplest to be made. Got an unknown 1/6 head sculpt and sculpted it's hair using epoxy (this is the first time I tried using epoxy, and it is FFAAANNTAAASSTICCC). 4 different look from the movie played by Brandon Lee...
Right after he painted his face.
The look he got when he's attacking his first victim, TinTin.
Stopped TinTin's knife.
With the trench coat, the most classic look.
Shooting Gideon's store using a shotgun.
The last look facing off with Top Dollar (note that i have not created the bullet holes on his shirt).
And for the first time, I'm gonna showcase here one of the earliest custom figure I created. I made this when I was 14 years old which was like 12 years ago ;D! Somehow I found it at the back of my cupboard.... FREAKY....
I remember how this came about. After watching the crow movie, and the sequel, I was thinking, why aren't there any crow action figure (probably they do but i'm just not as resourceful then, no internet get it?). So my sister was only 6 at that time so I told her to give me her old "Ken" doll and promised to get her a new one. And I started work on that one. Using little materials, most of the things you see from above was used by things around my house. For eg, the hair was made from thread that I cut to length and like in the name of Neil Buchanan, "add some PVA glue, leave it to dry, and there you have it, an Art attack" (or should I say, Eric's hair). Instead of a cloth shirt, I painted his body using my dad's black paint, I even painted his pants (which was originally white). And some black ribbon for the finishing look. Hope you guys enjoy these photos. Peace.
