I recently acquired 2 Hall of Justice playsets...one was in worse ship than the other so I was going to try and transform it into a Fortress of Solitude for Supes. As I got going on it though I decided I liked the idea too much for it to just be a fix-up project and built a new one from scratch, using the HoJ as a guideline. Front of case: The actual Silver Age version of the Fortress is huge with tons of iconic goodies inside so I had to pick and choose what I wanted to include, space allowing. Case open with Jor-El and Lara statues guarding the passageway inside: Jor-El flap pushed back to reveal Superman's Robots and the Intergalactic Zoo...oh and a cutout of the Bottle City of Kandor: Lara flap pushed back to reveal Kryptonite Samples, The Super Lab and The Krypton Memorial (I also included a stand-up cutout of the Phantom Zone projector..not the one normally seen that looks like a wok but the Neal Adams version): Superman at the opening Fortress door: Superman at the Super Computer (with Phantom Zone Viewer): I think I may come up with additional viewscreens that can be attached over the other ones. You can't see it on the keyboard but there are Justice League and Legion signal buttons off to the side. Back of the case:

Awesome and amazing work as always Anthony! Your skills at this never cease to amaze! I have looked at this one now for some time, and love your tie in to the outer box art. SUPER, if you'll pardon the pun. JOB! ;D

Again, you've taken an old concept and made a wonderful creation. The references to past elements of the comics, the cleanliness of the execution for every detail, and the overall impression of this being a toy that any kid would love to have makes it a winner. A great companion piece to the Batcave, and to your Mego Superman.
What's next?

You are a genius. Superman Robots... Phantom Zone Projector... Kandor... Gold Key... Mego Playset... Perfect blend of images and nostalgia, both comics and toy history and design, flawless construction and execution. You've got it all Anthony- I get excited just looking at these pictures. Thanks for sharing them with us.

I love the pop out computer. This set looks like loads of fun! or to have as a showpiece for some Megos. Nice!! Will
