Well done Kevin, looks great! Like you I am just learning so I know how intimidating this stuff is but you have achieved miracles here mate. I know all the trouble you had with what seemed like the most simple stuff yet you have put together an incredible little character here. The whole deal with the box is great and especially the little pieces of detailing with the jewelled pieces. Excellent mate. Take a bow! (Tell 'em about your latest custom. Go on! Tell 'em, tell 'em.!!)

Wow! Kevin, I expected to be immpressed but I am more like blown away here. What a costume you put together, the suit with wings look excellent! and the chest piece is absolutely fabulous! it sort of reminds me of one of Ace Frehley's chest pieces from one of his space suits. Love the helmet too you did a "bang on" job with this custom, great box art too.
Thanks for being here and sharing this with us.

I've never seen or heard of this character, and I'm not qualified to judge larger, clothed figures, but this looks good to me. I daresay it's cool just because of the obscurity!
Well done!

Thanks for all of the nice comments gents! I guess it came out decent and it helps to have some encouragement. I'd especially like to thank Martin who kind of got me out of a funk I had slipped into, and convinced me not to give up when I had reached a high level of frustration. Many of you are such stellar talents that it was a bit intimidating at first to consider moving on with this. But after some time here I have learned to just appreciate what I am priveleged to see from you all and hopefully learn as much as possible as I continue making these kind-of-schlocky little Mego guys. Oh yeah, my next project will be based on a one-shot appearnce of a character in a 50's Batman comic. In the story, Batman is transported to an alien world where he meets The Batman From Planet X. So that's who I'll be making. Here's a glimpse of him from the comics:

Not familiar with the character at all. But your resolution was well done.
