Thanks for posting the pic. Like I always say I am not an expert by any stretch when compared to some fellas out there but I enjoy it a great deal. Here we have the classic 1960s Spy-Fi hero The Prisoner. The head was sculpted by a pro FX guy in the States who did the recent Samuel L Jackson figure of SHAFT for McFarlane Toys. The body is a standard Mego. He is wearing a Mego 'Starsky' sweater and the jacket and pants were made for me by a professional costume maker pal David McLaughlin who actually recently made Christian Bale's gloves for BATMAN BEGINS. I loved the show and the opportunity to own an action figure was one not to be passed up. A humble offering from a novice customiser. Basically I just painted the head and put it all together. But I hope you guys enjoy seeing it

Excellent work my friend, The skin tones & hair highlights look amazing!
I would love to see pics & read details on your head painting techniques. Perhaps you can show us over on the "Tips & Tricks" board.
ongrats on completing The Prisoner custom, looks quite professional.

Thanks for the kind words. I wish I were a better photographer too. I kind of caught the eyes a bit weird so maybe some more shots are required. I am no expert but will be happy to share a few tips about face and hair painting. Boy, I am not worthy though. There are some killer painters out there way better than me. I am looking forward to taking The Prisoner back to the 'real' Village, Portmeirion in Wales, in a few weeks. That is gonna be worth a photograph or two.

Marty, you mean to say that you will meet the actual actor inwhich this figure is based? if so, I would slap together a box for the fig and get the dude to sign it, that would be quite the collector's item.

Man! That is one nice figure!
I have this buddy who is so into that actor. He has bought a lot of the Scarecrow stuff like the old movie poster and old VHS tapes and all, from the 60's that that actor did for the Disney series. I too like the Prisoner, but LOVE the Scarecrow also and if I could get a couple of these heads, I would make my buddy and myself AND anyone who could help me get the heads, a Disney Scarecrow figure for 'em.
That is really wonderful to see. Super job on it also.
By the way, I just did a 12" Billy Zane Phantom for my buddy and this actor would also be the father for that character as well. So many great roles he played! (I'll try to get pics of that Phantom soon.)
But super job!
