Mr Freeze Progress pics(comments please!)

well since the weather is still crummy i caved in and got to work on Mr Freeze he is the villain i mentioned in my original post that i am re-designing into my own version

anyhow just got him done this morning he isn't complete but the painting is so here are some progress shots i just took

i have no real set up for photoshoots so i just used my work area it also shows the warzone thats my work bench





and now my favorite pic



the chipping effect on his chest was accidental but ironicall fits in with my re-imagining of him

and while you cant see it in the pics his face has a ripple effect on it again accidental and again ironic goes with my idea

but thats Mr Freeze so far hope to get onto the suit and helmet this or next week

Well I am intrigued to see what you do as far as costume design and execution goes, but as he sits now he makes me think Silver Surfer.
Keep us updated on this, I look forward to seeing whats on your mind.

although it doesn't show in the pics very well he is painted with silver leaf and a clear blue overcoat hence the icy or metallic look

well not much of an update i am afraid but i have solved the boot issue and possibly the helmet issue aswell

and next week i will be buying the final components so he is well on the way to be complete

EDIT: well i am almost done painting his eys and this is my first proper attempt at painting eyes and i am pleased with them

well the eyes are the update but i am hoping to start work on the outfit this week

The eyes turned out fantastic!, the first pic shows real personality in his look.
I am no face painting expert, however! I will recommened that you do his lips a slightly darker shade then that of his face for added realizm.

also it shows how well the paint reflects since he looks completely different in both picks
