Ok this will be my official thread for my custom of which I am able to post some pics so far of the cape anyway

albeit i still have a few mods to make but yeah anyway

btw just ignore the dates i haven't adjusted it on my camera yet i took the cape pics last night

also this is a very rough do up of what i am going for with the logo what you all think?

Cape looks good!
Could I suggest that when you do the Bat-Symbol, just do one side, then copy and paste it, reverse it and match them up so you have it symmetrical? It'd look professional that way!

Whats the cape to be used with?
And is your dog called Ace by any chance?

ph right it will be for my 12 inch custom Batman in which he is my interpretation aswell as a mix of existing looks same goes for freeze really

update just finished his gloves the belt is almost done so he is about 45-50% done

Cape is looking good, nice seam work on the scallops. I really dg the shimmering material you chose for the outside of the cape, it has a 66 retro sheen and thats tottally cool.
I was gonna suggest the same thing as homunculus but I will add one thing. Choose which side you like the best and then copy that side, personally I would choose the right side.

well when my comp got fixed my photostudio program got deleted so that rough do up was done in paint hence the cheap look

as for the cape I am still stuck on whether to out the shiny material on the outside or inside

most likely outside though

Actually you have a pretty nice seam on both sides, so either way would look great, depending on the look you want.

well i got to find more of the shimmering side as i just did one side of the second half of the cape and need the shiny stuff for the otherside

btw just from laying it down this cape will be huge

UPDATE: Belt is almost complete, gloves are finished and i am working on the mask still although i will probably finish that last

hope to have the cape at least 90% done by tomorrow

cheers Les i am afraid he and Mr Freeze are on hold for now as I have bills to pay and so funding has been cut short while the majority of items i need i can make using things from around the house there are some components I still have to by so he may still be awhile yet

now I need you all to help me decide on something since I am doing from the angle of if he really existed i am in a bit of a conundrum, I cannot decide whether to give him a logo or not, partly since you'd think a guy who dresses like a giant bat would consider that his silhouette would sell the fact he is a batman

and while i realise it's to get thugs to shoot at the chest more commonly they shoot at the chest anyway so he wouldn't need to attract them to that he just needs to where armor underneath still

anyway I'll let you all vote on it as i am stuck for an answer

big UPDATE btw: while the shoulder piece isn't done the main body of the cape is and might I add it is indeed huge

Bats may be ready for a reveal in just roughly 3-5 five weeks

as i only need to make his mask and suit and he is done

i am also in the design process for a batmobile
