just came into the cave to introduce myself i am Clint but prefer Kal dont know why just do, while i have been collecting a couple of years now i am only now getting into customising

i am in the planning stages for a custom 12 inch Batman figure but with a unique twist i will try not to give it away til he is ready but i will say this about this figure he will be my interpretation of an existing style of batman but the story behind him will be different

also Phantom11 and Figure Master Les your 12 inch Batman customs serve as the inspiration for me getting off my arse and starting this project...thanks

Hi Kal, great to have you here, yes Figure Master and Phantom11 are among the best in the industry and it's no surprise that they inspire you.

Some of our regular members are away due to life situations and or computer problems so it's been a little quiet around here lately but have a look around, comment on what you like and make yourself at home.

And yeah, a HUGE local forest fire, and my family, keep me offline a lot lately, so don't read into that. I am just very busy.

But I am flattered at your comments, and am hoping to see more from you soon! That 12" Batman has me curious. ;D

well i am being delayed a bit myself cause while i have been wanting rain for awhile it chose a most inopportune time to arrive as now it is too windy to paint and too overcast to sew

the plus is it gives me more time to refine my designs

i am even in the middle of designing my own version of his logo

as for experience little i have however i have re-designed Superman's log before aswell

as for batman his cape is already half done it is a carry over from a project that was never started

i have gloves and boots and base figure sorted it is really only the suit and mask and belt that need finishing hope to have him up in a week or two

oh almost forgot i am also currently re-designing a Villain into my own interpretation of him

Kal! Hey, buddy, glad you could join us here; this is a great place. I've been away for a bit due to various demands in the 1/1 world, but I'm going to try to check in a little more often. And I offer a most humble thanks for your comments about my work(and thank you, too, Will; you guys are makin' me blush). I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with the Batman!

I must apologise for the delays in updates to my custom figure but weather conditions and illness has held me back why it was only a few weeks ago i got food poisoning for the first time(boy was that a wreck)

anyway i hope to get onto my work soon, especially now i have a line-up of villains to mold in my own interpretation to go with their basically all ready to go just waiting on the right painting weather

some of the villains i hope to get done are: Mr Freeze(my favorite), Catwoman, Scarecrow and if my figures persist my other favorite villain The Riddler

I also have a Superman custom in the works aswell

now i did manage to take some pics of the in-progress bat cape however i cant find the link cable for my camera so til then i cannot upload them sorry

anyway one other thing you can't believe the amount of design ideas for the mask and logo i have gone over in my head it is insane, I hope i have decided on the right one

well til i can get some pics up....rest well ;D
