Looking good so far, Kal. As for protecting eyes and mouth while painting the cowl, I tend to use a liquid mask that is brushed onto the surface. It's basically liquid latex, so when it dries, it forms a thing rubber layer that can be easily peeled off. Should be available at any good art supply store.

EDIT: ok i have been trying different things for the mask/head hence why i haven't updated in awhile anyway the outfit is almost done but i thought i would post one of if not the last teaser pic of him, you may recognize one of the shots as a tribute to a scene that is marked as one of the most memorable also this is bruce wayne:

Ok long overdue update, I screwed up the headsculpt and got frustrated but then recently i purchased a takara batman begins figure for bout 120 dollars with shipping which i think is like 68USD
anyway i am using the head, neckpiece, cape, gloves, gauntlets, belt and boots from it and making a comic based suit for him and i will save the armoured outfit for the heavier hitting villains like freeze and possible bane
anyway I'll post pics of him hopefully today

The face on the figure in the pictures above looks very much like Liam Neason, aka Ras Al Goul from Batman begins. With a change to the hair sculpt I think there would be a great resemblence.
Looking forward to seeing more Kalel
