Well, I've got the head sculpted so let me know what you think. The costume on this guy is going to be more involved and I am currently scared to paint the fur right- working up the nerve to try it!

This is really looking great! Both head on and prolific, you have the correct shape down. I can't wait to see this painted. Perhaps Les could offer you a few stippling techniques for achieving a furry looking paint apt.

I'm totally unfamiliar with the character (as is often the case for me with Kevin's customs, sadly), but the sculpt is coming along nicely. Nice shaping of the cranium. I have to admit, the orange of the sculpt gave me a laugh. Looks like a drug-addicted Sesame Street reject when unpainted! Well, to me it does. Keep up the good work! C.

I have to admit, the orange of the sculpt gave me a laugh. Looks like a drug-addicted Sesame Street reject when unpainted! Well, to me it does. C. HA!!! You figured me out! This is actually part of my new series- "Sesame Street on Drugs!" It's kinda like "Sesame Steet on Ice" only with more narcotic-induced nightmarish flashbacks. Jason- Real fur would be great- I have been debating it. It would have to be applied almost one hair at a time to do well, so I don't know. Could be hours of work that look like crap in the end too. Seems to me it will be a bit more in-keeping with the Mego theme as a painted head. Thoughts anyone? Thanks to everyone for the words of encouragement- I really need them to move forward- this is all new and scary territory for me.

I love the fur-look on this guy. He looks very AHI-ish to me, hope you don't mind my saying so. The head shape and face really match the pic too. Can't wait to see the finished product. I like your offbeat character choices.

Any comparison to an actual company's product is quite a complimnet to me Andy. I can only hope to achieve a look that approximates a manufactured look rather than some fun fair arts and crafts project. It's funny to me about how these Teenage Monsters are so often sited as offbeat and obscure. I think they exist as commonplace within the circle of horror movie buffs out there and I actually thought of them as relatively mainstream. Just goes to show how one can become lost in another world. It's kinda like how comic book readers all think of Wolverine from the X-Men as being on a par with say Batman or Superman but if I mention him at work ( a blue collar metals shop) 99% of the folks here have no idea what I'm talking about- even those who saw the X-Men movie!! It's a different world out there in the general public!

Kevin, your stuff certainly doesn't look the least bit like any craft fair project I've ever seen. You do all top shelf stuff! As for my comment about your choices being offbeat, I only meant that you don't do the classic Superhero characters that almost everyone else seems drawn to. I think it's great that you choose to customize characters that may never see the light of day otherwise. I do admit, sometimes I've had to Google a few of the characters you've done in the past just so I can find out who they are and where they came from, but that only adds to the charm of your work. This 'Teenage Werewolf' really looks tops, and every bit as cool as anything AHI put out.

Don't want to bragg here but........ ok I DO want to bragg. I got to see some further WIP's of this custom done with paint added and it looks totaly awesome! With Teenage were-wolf being near the top of my faveorite were-wolves of all time, I am just thrilled to be a part of a group where someone had the interest to attempt this character and do such an excellent job with it. Thanks Will- you set a high standard and I have apprecited gettiing some early feedback from you about it as I am always quite nervous about the standard of my work. It's hard to have an objective eye on your own creations.
Andy- I am flattered that you googled some of my other work which really has been obscure for sure. I appreciate the compliments greatly!
