I hesitate to show this one since it's not finished yet, but I just wanted to show Batlaw I haven't forgotten my roots! (I have others to I could show, too, but this is the only one photo-worthy at the moment.) Further updates as they develop. C.

Yeah, well, Troy's just sayin' what I'm already thinkin'. I should say Clayface here is not 100% from scratch. He's got the old Hasbro version underneath. But he's got a lot of material on top. The only orignal parts that still show are the knees. And he is taller than the average animated figure. Scale, baby! C.

Thanks for the kind words, fellas! But let's not count our customized chickens yet. I have to finish him. Sure, all he needs is paint, but there's this thing called two-part molding I'm experimenting with.... (No promises.)
And yeah, he's taken forever, but that's mostly due to my schedule.

Aside from the joints on the arms this is looking like one of those big $$$ maquettes! Really nice work. Also, this may be the first character previewed on the "Bat-Slab" who is himself a "Slab".

Also, this may be the first character previewed on the "Bat-Slab" who is himself a "Slab". Ha! And a slab he is. The arms and most of the body are solid, as I poured Alumilite into the hollow body of the original figure. It had too much "give" otherwise, being mostly rubber. C.

That's a pretty cool concept Cas. Illiminates the moveability therefore allowing the sculpting material to remain solid without the threat of cracking and breaking off.
Great job!

Thanks, Will. Though it was less inspiration and more desperation. "$%#@*&! Stop flexing! Stoopid plastic."

Thanks Glorbes and Customslab! I really appreciate that.

So this "two part molding experiment"...it consists of you making a copy of this guy for me in appreciation for getting you "back on the horse" right!? ;D
