Previously Batman thwarted an attempted robbery at an abandoned warehouse, as he took down one assailant the other ran off, as Batman assessed the situation aloud scream was heard as he went to investigate he discovered the run away muttering to himself about non-existent thingyroaches, which made him think of the scarecrow but before he could look into it further the familiar sound of approaching police sirens alerted him and he made a quick exit.
and now for Part 2 of Tales Of A Knightmare Darkly!
Hours Later inside the deep caverns of the batcave, Batman ponders over the earlier events
Batman: "According to the warden Scarecrow is still safely locked up in Arkham Asylum in fact he had visited his cell earlier on in the night, and the crook isn't in any condition to talk so an interrogation is out of the question."
Batman: "And the other guy is too scared to talk, whoever is behind this sure knows how to keep their men in place. If scarecrow is still locked up then how was the crook able to be affected by Crane's drugs?"
*a noise breaking the silence catches Batman's attention he turns to see that a transmission is coming in over his radio*
Commissioner: "Batman this Gordon do you hear me?"
Batman: "I hear you Jim go ahead!"
Commissioner: "Listen we have a major problem here...Dent's gone missing!"
Batman: "I'm on my way!"
Meanwhile across town in a dark lit room, the outline of a figure comes into view and it is District Attorney Harvey Dent tied up and blindfolded, a voice speaks softly from the shadows alerting Dent that he is not alone!
Stranger: "Don't worry Mr Dent you'll be fine for now!"
