Hi everyone, I'm new to the board and pretty new to customizing figures. But today I finished my first crack at a Joker figure and thought I would share. He's not based off of any particular style or version, but when I sat down a few days ago and thought about sculpting the Joker this is what I came up with. I was going for a comic style from the 60's and 70's The figure was made using a Sideshow body, and the hands, boots and clothing from a Sideshow Scarface figure. The suit and vest (originally white) were dyed with Ritt and I added a ribbon for his necktie. The sculpt is an original piece I did made out of super sculpey, here's a picture of the unpainted sculpt.

Welcome to CBF galactiboy! Must say this is a pretty cool Joker Custom. One of the most original looking Jokers Ive seen and an excellent scupt. He has a sweet kinda "trust me" look in his eyes, but I know that can't be. Great selection of clothing pieces as well as the color change, Looks super! Will

Thanks ptassler and Wild Willy! I'm real happy with how he's turned out and I was lucky in that I'd just gotten the Scarface figure (and wasn't that impressed) a week or so before I made the figure. Oh, and I definitely would not suggest trusting hem

This is a great original custom GB! I love your approach to the character. Really nice work, and both the sculpt and paintup is awesome. Great entry into this site! (My intro was an original Joker also, see the top banner profile shot...)
Love the eyes on this one! K point for ya bro!

Thanks Les! Just a small update on the Joker, I decided to take a crack at a Jokerfish... thought he would make a fun accessory.

VERY interesting take on the Joker; and nicely done, too. Love how the suit turned out, and yeah, the Jokerfish is perfect!

I plan to eventually do that... but finding a suit (since I can't sew) is kind of daunting. I have a few ideas, but nothing hard and fast.
Are there any good places to find body suits, I've looked on eBay with no real success.
