Here's the one I'm working on. A revision of my earlier one. New head. New cape attachment. Don't have the boots or belt finished yet. I like this head better than the old IDC one I used because it's more in scale and I was able to mount it on the BBI Elite Force Body Builder doll and he can pivot his head skyward for the "Up up and away!" -S

That looks good so far mate. These old movie and TV super-heroes really do seem to be the ones that made an impression on a certain generation of us guys. I'd like to see a nice Clayton Moore too maybe. This is great looking. I can't wait to see him all done though. Good job.

The suit is made by one of my suit guys - Rauty. I used my usual transfer method for the S shield. There is an S shield on the back of the cape as well. I know Reeves didn't really have the Roman collar like the comics but I gotta use what I can get since I cannot sew.
The belt is a rubber Diver 4 one and will be replaced soon with a plastic one with the gold buckle.
I also have fisted hands for this one that can be swapped out for a better "hands on hips" supes look.
Yeah a CM Lone Ranger would be great.

Scot- This is looking great, and I especially love the costume- perfect colors and the chest emblem is dead nuts on. Now, I am not able to sculpt for my life, but I have spent the last seven years doing sidework on caricatures and portraits. It has given me some reasonable perspective on how to configure faces and I am making a bold gesture here is offering some suggestions on how this sculpt might be brought closer to George Reeves' likeness. I only offer this view in the honest interest of trying to provide some helpful advice. I hope it is received that way- but if you think I'm just nit-picking or blowing smoke out my keester that I'll be glad to remove this post and offer you an apology for my misguided efforts.

No, Kevin - your input is always completely welcomed.
I agree with your input too. There have been quite a few Reeves head sculpts and I've had a few of them and this one was the closest one I've ever had access to.
If I sculpted - I would fix those things immediately but while I sculpt a little bit here and there from scratch, and make non-organic things all the time - doing anything to an existing face sculpt gives me the willies.
However - if the person who bought it wanted to give it a go - they'd be more than welcomed!
Maybe I'll send a casting of it to Les for fixing or get brave myself. Or maybe Steven will sell his head soon. What did you think of his, Kevin?

Did you say, "Gives you the Willies"? Is that like Multiple me's I always enjoy seeing a Reeves superman and this one is super nice! The likeness is not bad and the suit is great!. One thing that used to bother me about the reeves superman was the way the cape hung off the back, the neckline hung way way down to the middle of his back, and i always thought that looked a little odd. I love the poseable head tilting feature too. Will
