[glow=red,2,300]WOWSA WOWSA WOWSA!!!![/glow] Now THAT is a thing of beauty!!!!
Is that the standard issue car? I heard tell of some special edition that you have to be a member of the Hot Wheels club or something to get...is this THAT one, or the "regular" edition?
Either way, WOW!!! Thanks Pete!

The regular 1/18th version is available for pre-order at bigbadtoystore.com. I deal with them all the time, and highly recommend them. Plus, if you should come across it at retail, you can cancel your BBTS order.
BBTS says this is due in September, but I've also heard 2008. So who knows.

Looks like an accurizing kit will be required. Small price to pay for getting a nice, door-opening metal car tho. But man, wouldn;t it have been just as easy to get it correct?

Yesterday I picked up my sweet girlfriend and she surprised me with not[glow=red,2,300] 1[/glow] but[glow=red,2,300] 5[/glow] Hotwheels Batmobiles. After witnessing me going to toy stores day in & day out she decided a couple weeks ago to buy this 5 pack of cars from ebay and surprise me with them. What a Woman I have gentlemen, Looks, charm and such thoughtfulness. These cars are awesome! and I totally love them (and her) for getting them for me. I now have a feeling of relief and I can relax a little with the hunting. I have bribed several Toystore clerks to call me when they arrive and no matter when I went, there were always other collectors there and gone ahead of me. I'm sure nothing will give me the feeling of actually finding one on a peg so I will keep my eyes peeled still. Will

I just got some at our toyshow last week. $5 each. No shipping. No tax. No driving around. No wasted time. By my reckoning that's a $3.96 finder's fee that I'm ecstatic to pay for no hassles.
That being said - there WERE dealers that had them for $25 each as well. But I'm sure their price came down by Sunday since there were no shortage of cheaper ones.

That price gouging is horrific!
SO....has everybody here that WANTS one, HAVE one now? It'd be nice to know if all the guys here were satisfied with one in hand.... Guys? Who's missing a HW Batmobile?
Just curious.

Hey Pete, do you remember what JL Car you got those wheels from specifically? I've been looking on ebay and the wheels are kinda hard to see on many photos. If you dont know the kind of car, how about a pic? I'm sure I could identify the make & model. Will

Les, I haven't gotten one o' these yet!!! Gotta look at the local Wal-Mart...
And Pete, I'd love to have specifics on the JL car you used for the wheels; I've been having the same problem as Will trying to figure which one to get. Thanks!
