Holy...!! Man, please say that's real... 'cause if it IS, it tells me that SOMEONE over there has got the right idea with the significance of this thing.... What a way to tease the buyers...

Now come on guys. I'm playful, not cruel! This photo is on like four other boards right now as well! It's real and it is from the Mattel booth.

Speaking of Mattel, we actually had a Mattel Rep typa guy signed up as a member here. He wasnt really participating or contributing to the boards so he was deleted. Too bad, he may have had some answers & info for us too. Will

So "again" this whole shebang is giving me the familiar feeling of being a "sucker" with having the remote belief that it could be true. Any news? I mean [glow=red,2,300]real news [/glow]not crap which was "secretly heard" on a forum somewhere. Will

Sounds more promissing but! is that a Fan based site or an official Hotwheels site? You can take that as official Will,i only hope there'll be some larger scale ones and not just the 1/64.But hey,it's a start!

As I recall the original info release regarding the new rights and their intentions... there were references to 1:18th versions. I do specifically remember the statement "multiple scales".

The HWC board administrator HWC Ned posted the following response: "We will be releasing several different versions of the 1966 Batmobile in Hot Wheels, both in the basic car line as well as other lines and other scales. This is the only place you can get the official '66 TV series Batmobile. The team is working with Warner Brothers, DC Comics, and of course, George Barris on these. Look for an official Press Release at the begining of November at SEMA, and we may have some sneak peaks information Saturday Night at the 20th Collectors Convention in Anaheim. Trust me - it all looks alot better than the Corgi stuff ever did."

It will be cool. ;D All I know is, if they do come out with this car, and I can get one, for sure in 1/18 to go with that set, maybe also a smaller one to go with my Corgi set, then I will sit back and be one happy camper. No more teasing and tempting and no more charging $$$$$ for something that should be available to us all for a regular TOY price. It's about damn time! [glow=red,2,300]Bring it on! [/glow] And, I actually hope they don't stop there with the 1/18 line as I want the remaining Batmobiles from the other movies as well.
