Thought it's about time i showed some piccies here.I managed to dig up some older Models i built ages ago to give you all a gander at what i get up to.The Photos aren't great but you get the idea. First,some Movie Batmobile kits:   And secondly this was a Resin 1/8th kit of Alicia as Batgirl i did a few years back as well.  And lastly not Bat-related at all but a very cool 1/8th Resin Kit of one of Boris Vallejo's paintings called"The Amazon's Pet."  I've done lots more but they're all currently in storage until i have somewhere to display them so i'll post them when i get the chance. |

Great looking Model building FB, I really love the detailed paintwork in the Amazon lady girly with the lizard, cool shading effects.

Thanks Will,her and the Beastie were mostly Airbrushed which always gets a better effect IMO.Especially with Flesh Tones be them Human or Beast.Painting and detailing all the Jewellery was a real test of my patience though.
I promise i'll have better pics for you one day.

LOL,Thanks for that.I love doing the odd Fantasy Model Kits especially anything Boris based as i love his paintings.I've actually got another Resin Kit based on his art which is about 90% finished which is also very nice  .When i finally get to finishing it i'll post a pic of that one too. |

that amazon chick model is pretty sweet lookin. thats a flawless paintjob. second to none. those batmobiles all look great too, i envy the talent that you people are showcasing on this board.

Man, check out those paint jobs! Totally smooth on the cars, and the Vallejo gal just "pops" right out. (Pun intended.) Beautiul work, FB!

The Boris art is always nice to see in model form and you have done a great job. The Batmobiles too. I like the black finish. I can never seem to make them look anything other than a model kit but you get a realistic full scale finish. Impressive mate!!

Thanks Martin,the Air Brush has been the best Tool for getting those clean,smooth finishes.I'd be lost without that and the Dremel i tell you!

Just a comment, where did you get that Batgirl model? I like that one. To be honest i can't remember the distributor of it now,i'll have a think about it and get back to you on that.It is a really nicely sculpted Kit,unfortunately the photo i've taken isn't the best to bring out all the detail. |
