I know there are a few types of resin out there and I was wondering what would be best for head casting. does it matter? are they kind of all the same? If not, can anyone recommend one?

I use Smooth-On Smooth Cast 300 liquid plastic. Very nice stuff. Easy to use. Easy on the budget too.

I've used Smooth-on's Smooth cast and Alumilite's cheap stuff and both are great. Smooth Cast seems like when it starts to cure it does it almost all at once and Alumilites stuff cures a little slower which makes it great for roto casting parts if you need something done hollow. I use it on my torsos a lot.
