Any of you custom-gods have suggestions? I have since ripped off this "cloak" and he's just sitting there. If you're wondering, he's London's Knight of Justice, The Hunchback. He appeared in Batman: Gotham Adventures #8, and Casimir challenged me to attempt him. I'm about to cry! The head and feet came out, but I really, REALLY need a good-looking, wrap-around cape!

I actually really like the way that looks!
But, if you're unsatisfied, cloth may be the trick. If I have a chance, I'll do up a tutorial in the next few days about how to get a wrap-around effect...I have a method that I use frequently, and I am none-to articulate to describe it without pics ;D

How bout some non-shiney spandex material? this would stretch over the arms and shoulders nicely and drape down as well, giving it a properly scaled wrap & hang to it.
If you do this and want certain waves and folds within the cape, this can be aquired by spraying with Non-scented hairspray, fold into desired positions and either tape or use a rubber band to hold the shape, onnce dry, remove the tape or band, and gently spread the folds open, this will give a scaled down looking flow with the look of wieght to it, instead of having something stiff and unrealistic.

wow, you guys ARE know-it-all-gods! FaithfulButler: if you remember the toy's name, let me know! WildWilly: The hairspray suggestion is very interesting! I may yet try something like that. I wasn't expecting a compliment on it...THANKS, GLORBES! And a tutorial? I'm there. Where do I buy tickets? Casimir: Always using the dark side on me, you are.

Oooo... I'm liking some of these ideas. Will, I may try that hairspray trick sometime. And if Glorbes is up for pictorial tutorial, I know I'll want to memorize it.
See, Tyke? Nothing to fear from cloth!
