I read recently and now see from ToyFair that they are finally gonna make some merchandise from Flash Gordon! Initially, it sounded like it was all gonna be bobbleheads and such (which I dont care for), but supposedly, the deal includes full on action figures! Not only that, but the master himself Alex Ross is on board in a design capacity! ;D

Great news for sure just to see some new top quality 1930s inspired FLASH merchandise. BUT...despite having a massive amount of admiration and respect for Alex Ross what does he have to offer when there is already the most stunning design and artwork that Alex Raymond created which should surely be used as the source inspiration for any new FG product. I'm sure most old time FLASH fans would prefer something looking like Raymond artwork than a newly reworked thing by Ross. I love his work all the way no question but I just don't get it? Exciting news all the same though.

Not sure exactly what or why Ross got on board?... I think he too is just a fan of that film as I am.

Movie FLASH stuff will be cool too. No question about that! As far as I recall I only ever saw a Lone Star metal cap gun whcih was an old CAPTAIN SCARLET pistol reworked a little back when the movie came out. New toys and figures will be on my 'must have' list for definite. Thanks for clearing up the confusion mate.
