Obviously the 1960s spawned a heck of a lot of Batman merchandise much of which was 'inspired' by the popularity of the TV show. I know of comparitively few pieces however which were what you could call genuine TV Batman products. I would love to know of any you may have or have once owned. I know of the following:
GAF View-Master Reels Corgi Batmobile and Bat Boat Topps Gum Cards English Annual Paperback books x2 Soundtrack LP Soundtrack 45rpm Aurora Batmobile kit Aurora Batboat kit Aurora Bat cycle kit
Obviously there were TV and movie magazines too.
I'd love to hear of other items but these are the ones I know that are real out and out genuine TV items.

You pretty well covered much of what was put out from the series. To my knowlegde there has never been an official Adam West style Figure which would have been awesome!
Although the likeness was not really there, i would say that the Mego Batman was totally inspired by the Adam West TV show.

A full on official Adam West style figure from the 1960's would have been the coolest ever. The closest I ever saw was a carded Louis Marx English figure. It came with accessory parts like a batarang and stuff. Again mostly comic book looking but inspired by the show and from around 1967. I think the Mego figure with even just a little work makes a very reasonable approximation of Adam in the role.

Wow- what a short list! I have a stack of those Topps cards I found left behind by a former tenant in a basement of a house I was renting years ago- they are really nifty! A lot of them feature painted comic book type images. When I was a kid we had a '45 record that featured a song about the Batmobile that I think was on the "genuine" side. I agree with your comments about the Mego Batman, their Batmobile falls into that category as well.

A former tenant leaving behind some Topps BATMAN cards!! Boy that was a result for you pal. They did a couple of sets but there was one based specifically on the 1966 movie. The artwork cards too certainly attempted to represent a real guy in costume as opposed to a comic book character in my opinion. All are beautiful though just like most gum cards of the period. The whole Batmobile thing is a strange one. Very few make genuine acknowledgment of the source of inspiration but so many are clearly of 'Barris' origin. Mego's was for sure of that variety.

Wow i've seen averything from Cutlery and Dinnerware to Ashtrays.Especially with the opening animation on it. There was a book released a number of years ago called"Batman Collected"by Chipp Kidd which had heaps of photos of unusual merchandise based on the TV series. If i can ever find which box it's in i'll get some scans and post them.
