In fact, I wish there was an old Bruce from KC with the body brace etc. Non batsuit one. That would be great! Patience Grasshopper, all will be revealed in time. How quickly you forget me sniff

HEY! What head are you using!!?!?!?!?!? Well.since you ask i'm using the GL Head pictured on the previous page.HOWEVER,it needs major reworking to be acceptable as Ross' Bruce Wayne in KC.Ross based Bruce's look in KC on Gregory Peck,so,there's a Mask to be removed which you've already said you don't want to attempt and then some major re-working of Neck, chin,Jawline and Hair to come even close. Guarantees of success at this point cannot be promised! However he's WAAAAAYYYY down the list at this point so don't expect to see him too soon.

Here's the Lara Croft dog that I repainted to be more like the animated version. The sculpt isn't accurate, of course, but it's close enough: The unpainted version is black and brown and scary looking. Les, PMing you now! C.

Just had an idea for a head. I just made my usual Friday lunchtime run to TRU. I'd seen the current ToyBiz X-Men line many times before, but never with Les' project in mind. Check this out: It's Magneto from this line, curently on the pegs. His face has just enough wrinkles to give him some age, without making him geriatric. He's a rugged, handsome 60 years old. With, of course, a full head of hair. I don't know if that's the road you're going down, Les, but it could work. C.

WURKIN' IT! WURKIN' IT... Got some of these parts coming. Just need to decide on the head. That Magneto is a cool one. Maybe. $20+ is a lot to pay for a head though. He is not cheap. But, he may be the best choice. Looking. Still haunted by the KC heads too. And thanks guys. If any more ideas hit, drop in and let me know. This one is a go, as fast as I can get him all together, so thanks for all the input.

Les- This just came out this week, it's a DC Direct Perry White from the Silver Age Superman series and seemed to me like another decent candidate for your Elder Wayne head- he has good hair for the likeness, strong features and is clearly "older":

That's extremely cool there Kev. I add some needed chin...and he is not too shabby! Thanks for the lead! And thanks for posting the pic of old Bruce. It's cool just to see him again. ;D

I got the Goatboy today from Cason! Karma for you bro! Body is perfect! In that DCD scale (like all these Ross figures) of about 7"- 8" figures as opposed to 6".
After a proper head and hands. I will make the cane and get the Ace soon. So far so good. When I get enough parts and can start, I will post and share actual work progress on the Slab and share with you guys.
A big heartfelt thanks so far! This one's going great!

Excellent! My plan is working perfectly. Little does Les know I've hidden a microtransmitter inside Goat Boy that will beam every creative, genius thought Les develops directly to my brain. Thus I will soon become "Figuremaster," and Les will revert to his swamp boy form. Bwa-ha-ha!

Well...it's not worki.... Wait a minute... wait a minute.....What's that ringing in my ears? ? I have this compulsion to make 6 inch figures now! What is this?!?!?! I am not even interested in 12"ers anymore! What!?!?!?! Look out world! I am gonna take the 6" figure world by storm! My name is Cason.....Who needs all this 1/6 fodder anymore? Where am I? This isn't Texas! What's going on? I don't make 12" figures....There must've been something in my soup today...I am married and have a giant collection of very cool 6" figures...Where's my wife?! (Boy, is the real Cason in for it! If we have switched places...I watched Smokey and the Bandit last night! He may be making 12" Burt Reynolds dolls by now! )

I only suggest this because you said that you would possibly revisit this custom (I think your version 1.0 is plenty fine)...but the head of the Marvel Legends series 13 Loki would totally kick ass for the old Bruce Wayne. It would need work (the top of the head and hair, as well as the ears, would have to be sculpted) but the face is *perfect*. Like I said...just a suggestion.
