Here's a question that i'd like to breach with you guys. Thanks to a trade with Les i have another character that i wish to complete, however i have an issue that i would like some feedback on. I'm not sure what the current PC term is but i need to do this figure with African-American Skin tones.Does anyone have a formula for attempting these colours? It's a new one for me and i would really like some feedback from others that have gone down this path already.

I have no formula, but I usually start with a mix of browns, caucasion flesh and reds. A few minutes experimenting usually gets me close.
I'm always surprised though with what colors are required. It's hardly ever what I expect.

Don't know what water based acrylics brands you use, but in the Testors Model Master line, the color I have used for a few figures that had darker African skintone was their flat "Leather" brown color. As is out of the bottle for darker skins, or any tint down of that has worked well for me.

Les i have a bit of everything,Tamiya,Testors,Citadel.AD&D and even some old Horizon Paints which had probably the most comprehensive range of Flesh Tones ever on the market.I'm sure i would be able to come up with the right tones i guess i was hoping that someone had a tried and true recipe. I've done Asian Flesh colours before and i found them to be easy to blend so probably i'll be able to nail it again with any luck.I was thinking along the same lines as Cas[thanks Mate ;D]so i'll see how i go.
