This is the way I did the boots for my 12” Batman and Superman. I tried to do vinyl and leather and some other things but never quite liked the seem running down the middle and ran out of energy trying to figure out another way of using that method so... Kind of doing it the way the K-Mart/FAO Schwartz Superman’s where done... I sculpted the boots and cast them in red or black, etc. resin, cut the leg off the body and pegged it with a dowel inside the leg. Then epoxy it into place, that's it.

Nice! For my own collection and preference - this would definitely the way to go and get great looking boots. Great sculpts too by the way.
You could sell your boot parts as well as your heads. I know I'd buy some.
I am doing a George Reeves right now, as a redo/update to the one I did before and I would love to use boots like this - but I have had customers react poorly to pegged booted legs before. Even though the other boots look clunky to me - they often prefer to be able to remove them.

Very interesting solution to a constant problem. How to scale boots accurately. Not bad at all.
