I just finished posting a fairly exhaustive set of photos of my collection, or at least what's on display. (There's lots more in boxes, something we can almost all relate to!) If you've got some time to kill, hop on over and have a look.Enjoy! C.

Good God in heaven! That's not meant to be sarcasm.... That's the room I want to go to when I die... Well, after I get my 27 virgins... It's nice to see a whole room diplayed so. To quote Dr. King..."I have a dream!"....to have a room (or rooms) like this myself! Great collection Cason! Beautiful display also.

Hey, thanks guys. I put a lot of effort into my displays, so it's nice to share them with a knowledgable and appreciative audience. It's also fun to show off the house to the uninitiated. It's sort of a test. Those with open and creative minds, even though those who have no real interest, are always drawn in and curious. Those who are, shall we say, less inclined to use their brains never even glance twice.
I probably shouldn't say this, but the main room, the one with all the animated stuff... That's actually the master bedroom. I sleep with all those little guys staring down at me.
Les, can I put in a request for some of those... uh... Oh never mind. I doubt my almost-bride would be happy!

That is one heck of a display fella! Nicely laid out and even with so much it looks neat and tidy too. You do a great job on the figures and you've done an equally nice job here. Fantastic stuff. I just hope that visitors appreciate how cool it looks too. I know I would but so many people look at this stuff and seem a little confused by it all. You are with like minded folk here fella and I for one think it looks the greatest.

That really is a pretty amazing display of collectibles. I love the shelves. It's spaced out perfectly too, so your eyes can take it all in with ease.

So that's what I should do with the bottom shelves - books! Makes sense. Impressive to say the least, Cas. However will you still be sleeping with them AFTER the wedding?

I think I once saw a description of how you made these but I forget - what is the BROWN batcavey structure from? The one that does not look like it was one of the Batman playsets?

Scooter- She's already living in the house, and has her own toys eveywhere, so I don't think much will change. All the more reason why I lucked out! She's a keeper. As for the "mountain," I assume you mean this: I found that at a garage sale. Originally, it was just grey plastic. I did some research and it was sold as a set with little plastic army men, animals or dinosaurs. Basically, some generic brand toy. Looking for group lots of little plastic animals, I sometimes see one on eBay, but it's rare. There's a similar one that's sold in a boxed set of army men at some KB stores now, but it's got levels for guns and doors and isn't near as generic. C.

I had this Prehistoric playset when I was little!! I loved it. I think it was by MARX. What a cool make over you've given it. Really, it looks like it could have been purchased that way. What a clever idea to spin this old garage sale find into such a cool new display piece. I would have died and went to heaven if the one I had as a boy looked this nice.

Awesome displays Cas! I'd love to come over and browes through those shelves. I see so much batstuff in there i'd be lost for hours. Home depot has plastic H-divider which you can glue to the front edges of the shelves to allow plexiglass widows to slide in. Thats what I did to transform a regular bookshelf into a great looking display case. Thanks for the peek inside your world. its looks exciting fun and a little twisted. Will
