I think I have seen the head alone in a picture on a little plinth if I am thinking right. I'm sure Scot can confirm. I have seen this head on some figures a few times too I think. Not too keen on the belt and buckle if I am to be critical and the trunks are a little small and tight looking. I hate to sound harsh but when it is referred to like it is in the blurb and when the price is like that I would expect something a little better. You do see them on eBay too.

Never saw the likes of this one before... Except a year ago when I posted about it here. I know - it's really hard to keep all this stuff straight. That's what I'm here for I guess. Todd is exactly correct, it's the Alex Rojas doll. These are however, the worst photos of it I've ever seen. The doll is not THAT bad as these photos indicate. (well, the belt is, yes.) The 'plinth' shot Marty referred to is the shot of thw head on my site in the H.O.F. Here it is again (bottom-ish of the page): www.scooterscustomworks.com/GALLERIES/HOF01.htmI'll see if I can dig out my shots of mine and post them again. This is a better figure than that shot leads on. Although nowhere near my favorite West for sure. Cool head in that he cast it in vinyl like all his stuff and it is painted well. (the one I own is, anyway) -S

I agree completely Marty. Alex's craftsmanship is very good and always "almost" there. I had high hopes for this one but the cape, suit, boots and gloves are almost unusable. The belt is trash. Only the head is very good - it is cool because it is just like a Sideshow head: very nice casting, very nice paint , solid vinyl and about a 65% resemblence to the actual actor He is another case of having great techniques and some skill (his sewing is great) but not following through on details or research. (That belt, come ON!) Both Will and I have tried to get Alex to join this site in the past to no avail. -S

Yes at one point Alex was very responsive to emails and seemed like he would like to join then.... nothing. Oh well perhaps someday he will come around and join. Will
