Well to answer this comment - let me say that I have sold 5 cars on ebay over the past few years, getting usually more than I expected and all went off without a hitch. However this one was a nightmare. The questions were manyfoild, I couldn't really answer all of them well because it wasn't my vehicle and I had to remove several 'bad' bidders and then I ended up sleeping through the final minutes and got a bad buyer in the end anyway.
Guy is a local car dealer, smaltime. Won the car then proceeded to ignore ebay rules, all my emails and phone calls and just never contacted me whatsoever on the deal.
Meanwhile I have to wait a whole week before reporting him to ebay and to try to get my money for the auction fvf back.
Not complaining about ebay -it was my fault fo sleeping through it and not being vigilant. I'm just veenting a bit about a bad buyer.

I am truly sorry to hear that Scot, what a tosspot! All that work and effort to have someone do that is just plain ridiculous, never trust a used car salesman! I hope things get better for you soon,it's hard enough dealing with trying to dispose of your Parent's Estate without"people"like this getting in the way.
