cgi.ebay.com/Batman-Robin-Custom-12-Inch-Figures_W0QQitemZ6041682442QQcategoryZ2480QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemDon't forget guys 'several' hours worth of work went into these figures!! I don't claim to be any kinda hot shot customiser but what ever goes through people's heads when they list things like this? I don't doubt that some effort has gone into these figures but has the guy never seen a photograph or drawing of either character to use as reference at all rather than just using some kinda vague recollection of what the duo look like. Just mental!!

That's pee your pants funny!! BATMAN looks like a skinny version of THE TICK!! And I hope ROBIN doesn't drive the Batmobile with those crazy solid white eyes. That's plain creepy lookin'...
And is it just me, or does BATMAN look like he's doing the Macarena? HEY----MACARENA!

I have no explanation, good or ill, for this fella's stuff. But I'm always amazed and the number of customs slapped together in an affort to make a quick buck. You can always tell these, based on the lousy quality and the pumped-up descriptions. And the desire to so always amazes me, too. I get emails and see forum messages (not here, obviously) from newbies or those who know just enough to be dangerous, asking how much they can get for X custom. It's just pathetic.

I'm diggin' Robin's mini-skirt and sleeveless look plus the nun-chucks. Batman's rabbit ears are also nice- plus the puffy cloth top and the plastic painted bottom. Good stuff!

Yeah those are a little wonky. To be honest, it could be that he's just starting out...while I would never dream of trying to sell any of my early customs, it's possible he's not as saavy and learned in the ways of eBay custom selling. The only indicator he needs to get more practice is if these things don't sell...who would bid on such an item is anybody's guess I suppose, but I'd say give him time. Who knows, he could turn out to be the Mozart of the custom world

Be curious to learn what the "reserve" cost is!?
I dont know, there have been plenty of folks on ebay Etc. trying to cash in. Its one thing to put a custom up for sale or even to make some deliberately for such sale and even routinely. But I personally think its quite another thing to virtually make a business out of doing so and profiting off others properties Etc. Its even more objectionable when by all appearances they put such little effort into the work... essentially "no heart" or "passion" just slap this and that together regardless of quality and make a buck.
Like some use actual copyright / trademarked images and indicia and such and hodgepodge something together and start then put a high starting bid?
Sometimes though it's hard to determine between a lack of talent or ability, and a lack of caring or trying?
Ive now sold a total of 4 customs on ebay. only one was ever fully intended for sale. I dont think Ive taken any bread out of anyone's mouth and I at least put as much effort into those as anything else Ive done my for myself.
