Obviously this was all done in complete innocence back then but there are a number of funny panels from around this time. One of the best is one I have of Robin being spanked across Bruce Wayne's knee whilst still in costume. His yellow cape is hoisted up to allow Bruce to really get in there with the whacks!! An innocent age I think. Not like now. Funny stuff though for sure

!!! I'm thinking, innocent age...but that line about the cold showers is not so innocent... Odd era that. Funny what they got away with, with or without meaning to...

It was an age of innocence in so many ways and really most people wouldn't give the in bed together thing a thought.I think it's more sad that this Seller feels he has to make a point of it,get a life!

The use of the word 'Gay' or 'Gay Interest' is not a problem with eBay at all I have discovered. If it were I would not have half the DOC SAVAGE collection I have now!! Many sellers use the word to grab attention from a very large 'buying group'. In England it is referred to as 'The Pink Pound'. It's like a seller who puts
'GI Joe, Mego, Hasbro, Batman, Kenner' The product itself may really only apply to one of those words but it grabs in those buyers who type in one of the other words.

My sentiments exactly Andy. I actually began the first response to this thread but I deleted it before posting as i thought perhaps I wasn't in a good mood and didnt want to sound too hastey. I was kinda appauled du to the fact that the seller is such a loser that he needs to point out something so stupid to try to increase his sales. Speaking of age of innocent, there is a hillarious old batman comic which they refere the joker's pranks as Boners and they continue useing the term all throughout the story and it's funny as hec to read nowadays. ;D Will

I'm glad BATMAN & ROBIN put a stop to the JOKER before he could pull his Boner again.... The Dynamic Duo will stop at nothing the keep Gotham Boner free! That's some funny stuff!
And the fact that it was the Boner of the year is just plain hilarious!
The artwork is real top stuff though. I love the cover shot.
