It's the sale of the century! I hope it goes well, Scot. I don't know how you can part with some of those great pieces.

Yeah good luck indeed! Amazing work all around.
And a question . . . on the package design image you've made for the Mego batcopter, where did the drawing of Batman come from? I've seen that around.

Thanks. The image was from a scan of a recent indie comic released. I'll get you the exact credit.

The Batman image is from a new DC comic. Solo issue 7. Michael Allred does a pastiche on the old TV show and it is brilliant. You guys need to check it out. TV Riddler, Batmobile, costumes and support characters too. Real well drawn like how I personally feel comic books should look and alot of fun. There were legal issues apparently so the cover shot of an Adam West style Batman was dropped in favour of Wonder Girl but the inside features many TV style images. The story 'Batman A Go-Go!' even has the old 1960s comic book header with Batman with the cape across his chest and face. BUY IT YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!!!

Just to quell any speculations. I pulled a bunch of items from my sale. I took a couple items off because I got a wacky email from someone pretending to be a license-holder and telling me I was violating copyrights.
But I also removed a bunch of stuff because I was made a ridiculous off-ebay offer from a big collector. Normally I wouldn't do this - I get offers like this everytime I do auctions and I ignore them always and play by the rules. But ebay and paypal have funged me har 3 times this year and cost me a lot of money and time and energy. And this particular sale was all about the Benjamins. I said that up front. I am a bit overextended financially right now and in a need to recoup and this offer was well over twice what any best case scenario would have indicated.
Most everything that was custom will reappear very soon anyway. including, hopefully a better Batmobile and Batcopter.
Sorry to have let down anyone bidding. If you are interested in anything I might have pulled but didn''t sell - feel free to email or pm me about them.
