I know of at least three people who watch for things that actually say "Yvonne Craig" in the ebay title and then her management sends the nice email saying - "please remove this item or else I will have ebay do it for you"
She has no problem with things that look like her as long as you don't use her name. When I have custom Yvonne items (which is often) I call them "1966 TV Batgirl".

That Burges Merideth is the best looking Pengy custom Ive seen, in terms of likeness to the great legend.
Very nicely done.
On the Yvonne name thing, unfortunately one of the assholes that complains to ebay, claims to be a representer of the former bat-star, but in actual fact, they just want to eliminate anyone selling her name so he can be more exclusive with the stuff he sells.

Yeah agreed, Will.
But I also know for a fact that Yvonne and her management send emails out as well. I have talked to her about it and that's how she wants it. I have no problem with it if I know it's truly what SHE wants.
You take a greater risk of shutdown if you put the actor's name in the title pure and simple whether from the actor's management, one of these a$$faces that Will mentioned or from ebay themselves.

Yup that's one of my Batgirl boxes and I also did Rick's Penguin box.
As far as the Yvonne Craig name thing, I got a nice polite letter from her management a few years back concerning a Mego custom I did of her. They explained that she wasn't trying to keep people from making money here and there and didn't want to go through the ebay hassle of getting the auction pulled. She just didn't want her name associated with the product. If I wanted to relist it without using her name, that would be fine. So whenever I've listed something with her likeness, I also just say Batgirl and reference "1966" somewhere in the auction.

Yep that's what I'm talking about. Keep in mind with just about everyone else - your item would have just disappeared from ebay.
