That Nomura is about half as tall as my custom Robot. I have another body slated to do a closer repro of that one. They used the vinyl Ideal puppet head and just painted the eyes differently.

I saw the box you have with yours Scot! Am I reading it right as it looks to me like the logo of the English company FAIRYLITE. They did a few plastic and tinplate Batman items in the 1960s some of which I think were original to them while others were reboxed foreign releases. They were also a pretty forward thinking toy company as it was just before GI Joe came out here but they were championing the cause of action figures for boys. They did the whole cast of the TV Sci-Fi puppet show THUNDERBIRDS as well as Emma Peel from THE AVENGERS too. Just looks like their logo which got me wondering that's all. Nice stuff too so thanks for sharing mate. Bang on!

Good god! It's just a tin toy! And only 40-somehting years old. 100 years, I might understand, but this... I guess that is far passed my line of comprehension.
