The Batman is a decent job. The head I think is one that you see a fair bit. Maybe by a guy called Diver? If you wanna pull it apart there is stuff wrong with the cape under the neck and the emblem is clearly incorrect but overall it is OK. (Christ, who am I to begin criticizing other guys stuff!!?)The Joker is not bad either but the head looks to me like one of the Duke boys, whoever the dark haired one was, painted up like Cesar Romero. Maybe wrong but it does look kinda like it to me. Anybody know the full story? I think I see a Toyroom box in there for Batman too!

Martin wrote " the head looks to me like one of the Duke boys," That's a funny observation and probably not far off. Perhaps we will see a Daisy Duke Catwoman next, or a Boss Hog Penguin. ;D I had the same thought about the box, looks like Antony's, maybe the card too!. Overall, not a bad looking Batman, I've always thought that head's chin was too pointy, but it's not bad. The belt on Batman looks great! Will

I wasn't kidding, honest! I really do believe this guy has used a Mego DUKES OF HAZZARD head. I saw a King Tutt from a Boss Hogg once and I am sure Daisy has served time as that feline temptress before now. Talking of which the generic female head and hair that DR Mego does may make a more than adequate Lee Meriwether Catwoman head given a decent paint job. What do you guys think? He even calls 'her' Julie so maybe with a real top class job it could be the lovely Miss Newmar too. Any of you guys tried it?

That guy "silverprelude" has been selling and buying customs for a long time. Every so often, if you have a custom up - he will email you and ask something about it for his own work and not tell you he is trying to cop a recipe but act like he is asking because he wants to buy it. I get that a lot from people: "Hi what are you using for your belt, I need to know before I place a bid." Yeah right. I ask people for recipe and parts info all the time - but I tell them why. If they want to keep secrets that's their prerogative. I find most people will share if you are up front with them. ( MOST people) Anyway - I recognize most of those components and I think that's one of Anthony's boxes. The head is one I used to use - it was originally sculpted by Terry Reynolds (IDC) and Diver 4 has tme for $10. The blue parts look sewn very nicely, which I always appreciate since I can't sew, though as Marty points out they are quite off on placement and style.

The box is one of mine (an older 12" design) that he just purchased from me a few weeks ago. I also think he's recently had a Chris Reeves Superman and a Keaton Batman up as well in recent weeks with my boxes. The card isn't mine but it looks like it's one of those old Mego Mayhem cards that used to be around. Not sure but that looks like Lee Meriweather as Catwoman, not Julie Newmar. I've seen L.M. on "TV" cards before and it just doesn't jive with me cause she's from the "movie" cast. Also, IMO most of the carded Mego Batman figures I've seen recently could use some work...this Joker looks like he needs a tailor. ;D

Not really a fan of that head scuplt on Bats. But I do like the Ceaser Mego. Even with the Luke Duke head.

I think that The Joker figure has one of the Hasbro Joker 9 Inch figure outfits on. In theory a reasonable thing to do given the good approximation to Romero's outfit. However it may have been an idea to get somebody to 'tailor' it to fit a smaller figure. Something I could maybe imagine many Mego type of guys doing in the future. (Myself included although the waistcoat needs to be that purple-wine kinda colour too!) Is this what you fellas think this guy has done?

Mart, looking at the seamline on the arm of the carded Joker jacket, it apears to be a thicker looking material. And due to the fact that the seam looks kinda puffy, i'd say that carded jacket is custom made.

Silver prelude huh? What a small world! I'm paintin' some heads for him. Said he had to sell some stuff to get some heads painted up. Had no idea who he was, but he has had some doozys up for sale since! These included.
And by the way, why is it that you can find almost any great Joker costume like that in 8" or 9" scale, and NONE in 12"!!! Arrrrgh! We 12" folks must suffer the needle! And by the way, it does look a lot like the suit Marty posted. I look at the flower. Or, he is a great mimic, whoever did it.

I have seen this custom before. It's the 9" Hasbro suit for sure. If it looks puffy - it's because it's a 9" suit on a 7.5" body. Plus maybe they tried to "take it in" poorly. But it's definitely the Hasbro suit.
By the way - the Adam is Silverprelude but the Joker is another seller.
PS - If anyone needs one of these suits to use or the Penguin - let me know.

Another reason I don't think it's the same suit. Look at the vests, The custom one has 1 large button while the Hasbro has 4 tiny buttons. I suppose that could have been changed thou, the flower is the same (as les-Master pointed out)
