These are real nice. I believe this guy is a member on another board I frequent. He seems a decent type. I wonder if he would sell them in sets out right instead of through Ebay? Couldn't hurt to ask anyway. His SUPER FRIENDS AUQAMAN is pretty nice as well.

Joe does sell sets of any figure from the Super Friends. As well as singles. I got a Set of Wonder Twins from him awhile ago, & they are very nice. One day I will get that Batman & Robin from him as well as a Toyman. He's a nice guy.

He don't mention this important fact or even give credit to the sculpter. The guy might be good, but at others people expense is not good. Will

No need to apologise Jason, you said nothing wrong here. Joe does do exceptional work, there is no denying that. I guess to those who put their sweat and or money into producing a custom product, it is hurtful when someone gets ahold of it and reproduce it for profit. No worries dude. Will

Thanks Bro! I have just have no idea when someone takes a sculpt & uses it to sell, when in fact it is not his own. As I have stated with you in a previous conversation. I just love mego's & customs. I wish I had the talent to sculpt my own "head". The Custom world is new to me, only been here for 2 1/2 yrs, & have no idea who's is who's. Except a few. I just want my own collection. I have made a couple of Cyborg's for people, & my buddy at the comicbook shop. Other than that eveything is mine. I just feel a little nieve & stupid that I had no idea that a sculpt was someone elses & was not. I really enjoy Joe's customs, I guess I just wish people would state the appropiate credit, where credit is due.

Well I for one always mention that I sculpt my stuff, just to make sure that everyone knows that it's mine, and if I was to re-sell a custom which I didnt want I would mention who made it. And most of all, if I wanted to re-cast someones work and sell copies, i would ask for written permission, probably have to pay some type of fee, and definitle give props to the creater.

Understood. I wish more people were like you. I also try & state here or there when showing something, as do others. Just wish it was mandatory, for all us newbe's.

Sorry if I stirred up a hornets nest. Like Jason I know little of the ins and outs of the US custom scene. I never knew what this guy has done with other people's heads and stuff so I too apologise. I just saw a nice figure and thought you fellas would like to see it.

That's poop!!! I thought these were his own. Thanks for the heads-up guys. I wouldn't want anything that comes at the expense of another persons hard work unless they themselves are involved in some way.
Ebay is sort of like a car dealership sometimes. Honesty is often not anywhere on the lot.......

Martin and Jason and others - No need to feel bad. That's why we're here for each other and learning things from this board and group of people. Will almost sent that guy a head, and it would have been all over ebay or at shows a month later if he did.
I'm not telling anyone what to do - or buy - I'm just telling you what the guy does so you can make your own call. The pieces he uses to make the superfriends dolls are available for sale from a couple places online for like $10 each, so I don't think he recast those. And yes - I agree that some of his finished work looks pretty good.
Buy from him if you like - just don't trade him any parts you don't want to see mass produced! Plus his casting work is very bad. Jim Maddox asked me to buy one of those heads from him and I did some months ago and it is crappy.
