Well, here's elpapa again, this time turning his attention to Adam via prodding by his friend Tony Moe. The head looks nice and is cast in vinyl. But he won't sell you the head alone and the rest of the doll is not too good. Ah well...

That's pretty good all over in my book. I reckon the tights could maybe be a little tighter but than ain't a big deal that can't be sorted out by the winner. The big thing for me is that the head is vinyl and like a real figure you'd buy in a shop. Overall a nice job.

Suit material is too thick, too loose. Trunks too big, loose. Cape has sloppily defined scallops, emblem too small and innacurate, belt is really innacurate, boots and gloves are too darkly photographed for me to get a good look but the boots seem to be Mego style.
The head is very nice though. I have a couple other pieces by this guy and my feeling is that the head is more likely cast in urethane rubber, not vinyl. But who knows - maybe one of us will shell out for one and report back.

I really like it, there are more & more West style bat-customs showing up, and this is one of the better ones. The first thing I noticed which impressed me is the proper looking head scale to the body. Will

I concede I don't have the discerning West figure eye of many here, but I like this figure. Looks pretty good to me. ( Secret, undercover question...If there is a better set of grey tights, where does one get them? I am making my own West I might add...I would want THE GOOD ONES...these look like the Lt Grey ones from Dr. Mego...ones I was about to get... ) I can appreciate Alex's first foray into this area. Making him myself has left me spooked up til now. He's a tough one to get right. I bat-applaud Alex's first results.

You probably would have to sew your own for the tighter approch, Doc's suits are alittle big. I've noticed in my short time of customizing, that when sewing my own suits I get a better result for tightness. Don't get me wrong though, I still buy suits from the Doc, as well. However I don't know of a 12" pattern out there...

I have a tip for making jumpsuits tighter, I'll post my method in "Tips & Tricks.

I think this is a great figure, all told. Some of you guys are so perfect at what you do that I think your gauge on these things is much stricter than mine. In my book, this would be a cool toy to own- loose suit and all.
