Wow!!! Fellas, I just went shopping and got the newly released Corgi Batmobiles. An open top 1940's roadster style Batmobile with a small figure of Batman too and the 1950s Batmobile with the mobile crime lab in the rear seats. Incredible skill by these designers at Corgi. Keep and eye out as they should be Stateside real soon. I also got the new larger sedan style 1940s Batmobile with the bat face at the front and the fin which runs down the middle and rear of the car. The old Bat is gonna be alive forever I'm reckoning!

I found these at Walmart about 2-3 weeks ago. I got the 50's one (my favorite), also the 70's sleek model with the big bat face hood and the "big fins" one. Didn't see the roadster or the sedan so I guess I'll have to keep looking. I know they are planning a 2000 Robin Redbird, Catwoman Catmobile and a Two-Face Roadster in the 1:43 scale and a large version of the Robin Cycle and the 40's Batmobile.

The shop where I picked these new cars up had a huge display of new stuff but when it got to $50 I got 'The Look' from Max so I had to pull in the reins a little! Corgi are back up there in my opinion in terms of being producers of classic Batman merchandise. They were one of the major players back in the 1960s and 1970s and are really clued up again on what both kids and collectors want.

So far I have obtained every 1:43rd piece! and most 1:18th / 1:24th... except the 90's Version 2 (knightfall / "spaceship" design)... has anybody seen this one!? Far as I can see, it shouldve been out but it seems to have been bypassed or maybe it just slipped my radar? Some online sites list it though.

Yeah thats the one! I get most mine from Walmart. But ive also gotten a few from the comic shop and specialty/toy stores. The Sub, Two-Face, Redbird and Cat-car I bought from the comic shop but every other one seems to make its way to Walmart (eventually)... But Ive had the sub for months and other than the redbird none of those others have made it to Wallyworld. Perhaps somehow they are only ordering/getting the traditional Bat-mobiles? since they dont get the larger scales either? TRU is the worst. I bought all the first 1-11/2 waves there and other than some blue repaints they have never gotten any new.
