Here's Batman AND Detective Comics from September 1964. Neither are really all that interesting unfortunately, although we do learn that "There are no such things as Uhh!". Ironically for me my birth JUST missed my beloved "Atomic Age" which ended with the introduction of the "New Look Batman" in 1964...

No actual April 1964 issue of Batman as they were doing some kinda part bi-monthly thing where they did I think 8 issues instead of either 6 or 12. Anyhow here is the next best thing. Whacky and goofball for sure but very illustrative of why the impending 'new look' was so important and accepted so well by readers.
