Fellas, I'm in need of a basic miliatry officer's hat, like so: I'm looking for 1/12th (6") scale. I know there are some miliatry lines in this scale, but I have no idea how to even look for them. Can anybody point me in the right direction? Names of lines or manufacturers? (Glorbes, I'm looking at you...) Thanks, C.

Plan B Toys manufacture WW II and modern military action figures in 1/12 scale. Here's their website: www.plan-btoys.com/index.htmlI took a quick look around the products on the site, and did not quite see what you are looking for. Hmmm...I remember the COPS toy line from the late eighties was in this scale, and one of the officers had a cap that was similar...I know that's not much help, but I'm drawing a blank. That's about all I can think of, unfortunately. Good luck!

woo boy, you dont go after the easy ones do ya!? lol Well after racking my brain for a little bit, the only thing I could come up with near that scale would possibly be a hat/head from a Street Fighter "Bison" figure? I'll keep my mind and eyes working for you though.
Edit: not 100% sure but I think there was an approx. 6" scale Hellboy figure with a similar hat? And wasnt the (rare) ML Red Skull also sporting one?

"Plan B." That was right on the tip of my tongue, I just couldn't pull the name form my mental database. Thanks, Glorbes.
Bison... Good idea Batlaw. I assume that's more of an eBay purchase?

Hmmm... I've used "Zombie Cop" for his hat before, but it was an older line in a smaller-scale. Isn't this new scale more 7-8"? I can only recall seeing the girl in the slinky red dress. (Thought she'd be good fodder, but the scale was too big.) Red Skull... Yeah right! Like I could find one. C.

Not sure if the scale would be right but I believe the Series 1.5 release of Hellboy figures had a Kroenen with that hat.

Kronen's hat is just a bit too large, being closer to 8" scale. He was one of the first ones I thought of, too. Thanks, though!

I regret Ebaying the red skull I had (not to mention passing up the other ones I found). As for the Res. Evil figs, I have the smaller 4"? cop too (that was the 1st thing that sprung to mind when you posted lol), but in thinking about it, I knew they made bigger Res Evil lines and sure enough, they included the Cop. In the descriptions theyre listed as "six inch action figures". You may also consider the ninja turtles "General Blanque" figure? The hat's removeable and the fig is still rather common on the pegs. toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=20&itemid=5042Im brain stormin.

What about Major Maxim from the McToys Danger Girl line? He had a hat similar to this didn't he?

General Blanque! Good thinkin', BL! I'm on the hunt.
Glorbes, Major Maxim might work for what I want. He was big, but his head was small. I have one around here someplace, I just have to find it. (And if I use it, I'll have to cast it, as I don't want to break up my Danger Girl set.)
Thanks for the brainstorming, gellas!
