Here is an inprogress sculpt of the George Clooney Cowl head from Batman & Robin, being done for our very own Pete Tassler, who's working up a nice 1/6 full custom for his collection. It's taken me ages to get to, and more ages to do, but he's getting there. Tough work these cowls! Here's a week or so back And more recent... Hope to work the kinks out in the next day or so, and get it finished this week. VERY hard to do, as I am working with epoxy putty, and I do some, it sets, I sand and dremel, then add more, sand and dremel, then add more or blend, and sand/dremel...and on...and on.... All the while, Pete going, "Where's my Cowl!" ;D [glow=red,2,300]Love ya Pete! [/glow] Bear with me though bro, this one will be done soon. And, after this one, later I plan to make myself a Panther Suit Batman, starting with...yes...the cowl! Can't wait to finish these both. New for me. Except for my 1939 Batman head, this is the first movie cowl I have actually sculpted. HARD stuff! So precise.

The more recent pics look awesome! very polished looking Lestro! Nice cemetry and perportions throughout. I assume the head beneath is just a generic head sculpt? For a closer "Clooney likeness" Clooney's upper lips are very pronouced, which to me make him look goofy as Batman but I suppose some ladies like em. ;D Looking awesome Les! & congrats Petey boy! Your displays are most impressive. Will

Cowl as it appears about done. It is finished now, and Pete not only has it, but it is in progress of being revamped into a rubber cowl for a future figure! I'll let Pete explain that end... But here is the 95% pics (I didn't get 100% as they looked about the same, just more sanding...) Note more pronounced brows... And you guys can bet your left nuts I plan on a Panther sculpt! ABSOLUTELY! Being the Panther is one of my faves ever! And I have a body and suit started for a custom already! So, news on this as it comes. I really enjoyed making that cowled head for Pete, and myself, and anyone else that may get a crack at a figure using it, so stay tuned! I am not done with movie Batman customs yet! And thanks for the comments guys. Appreciated. ;D Oh, and for bodies, use Hot Toys for both Forever and B&R bodies bases. Best one for now. I think Azone makes great leather body suits too, but hard to find. I plan on adapting any armor to that arrangement. Pics of what I have on hand to come.

Thanks a lot for the update Les. The Panther Suit is also my favorite one and I look so much to seeing it done. BTW, is the armor is going to be cast in rubber as the cowl too ? Please tell me more Les or Pete. Thanks. ;D

Thanks! I am still waiting to see a finished suit and cast of this head, so Pete and I can get one/ That was a lot of work to do for no figure for ages. I know Pete is ready! ;D I am too! I want an extra to make a Panther suit asap. I have a body, bodysuit, boots and some minor gear for that version, so let's hope things get in full swing soon.
