I thought I would show two figures in progress at the moment... One is my very overdue Jack Nicholson Joker, and he seems to be ready to...uh...shoot... the Catwoman there. I'll let Jack's gun do the talking. Pretty obvious what I am doing with them both creative wise, hence the pic. The Joker is my very modified Billiken head sculpt with about a 2/3 done paint job. Mid hair detail and eyebrows need tweaking. His clothing is very IN PROGRESS, and this is what I have on hand. The outer jacket will be his overcoat though. Dragon body. Awaiting better posey gloved hands. Making everything else. hence the delays. Catwoman is a Dragon female soldier body. I know Jason, that shot's for you buddy! ;D ;D Actually, I am just working up her outfit components so she is pretty far off too. Her head is that Applause 11" figure repainted and her hands will be posable as will everything else. I will sew all that white stitching etc. Otherwise, enjoy.

I was hoping you'd chime in but I feel your pain regarding what I show. Will said I could post these kinds of pics, but suggested I blotted out the details. Sorry bro! Although, in here it might be ok. Let's just say I wasn't taking any chances! Glad you liked the progress. More to come.

Whoa! I'm totally digging the "Wait'll they get a load of me" look on his Nicholson's face! Your sculting is every bit as good as your painting Les- you really are "all that and a bag of chips". I'm looking forward to seeing Catwoman move along- you have already moved that Applause figure up about twelve notches by attaching the head to a nice body and breathing life into the face- can't wait to see the shiny black sexy outfit hug that frame when it's done.

Looking good, Les.
Cracks me up that a gun accessory that came with a 6" figure works in scale with a 12" figure.

Nice work on the Joker face sculpt.
I wish I'd known you were doing this Catwoman. I have a 1:6 Pfeifer head that I think is WAY better and sexier than that Applause head. Though - yes, you have it looking million times better than it started out.
NO do not make the boobs bigger unless Jason is the client. They are already too big. If it were a comics Catwoman, sky is the limit but Michelle Pfeifer is NOT remotely well endowed. Nothing over a B.

Will has brought to my attention that I may have inadvertantly mislead you guys into thinking that my Joker is a totally original headsculpt. I didn't mean to convey that, as it is a VERY VERY VERY reworked Billiken head base. This is a reworked recast of a very previously reworked one by me. It's at least four recasts and reshapings removed from the original by now... ;D Just for your creative info, I took an old, very badly recast Billiken beret head (2nd head in the Billiken model with a less open mouth) and had to resurface the whole thing. It had major pock marks and holes due to some moisture in the mold I guess from years ago (maybe 1996?) etc, and in doing all the changes, I dremeled off the beret and made him very bald, shaping his basic headshape, added a right ear, completely added the hair, then completely reworked the nose, the eyes, adding actual eyeballs, changed the entire jawline and added some chin, completely remade and sculpted the neck, it now angles straight down, ala for Dragon figure type heads, as the Billiken neck is angled back a bit, added to and altered to the cheeky parts of his outer smile and added the lower lip to my personal head as I wanted a completely original face that wasn't so open mouthed. Like Kevin said, a "Wait'll they get a load of me" face. So... all that was what took me so long on it. ;D Oh, and like I said, that one in progress on the figure one on the right is even further altered from the final casting head master on the left. See hair shape, and subtle small stuff overall. Really had to clean it up to get what I wanted. The casting has the Billiken smile intact. As for a Catwoman head, Scooter, this one's not attached. Show me the one you have would ya. Thanks. Oh, and with the corset in place, her boobs look ok. Less big and more like they looked. Thanks for noticing that Scooter! And thanks for any creative comments. More welcome. Her costume is going to be a bitch! No pun intended. Where's Jason with that sewing kit of his??!!!

Catwoman: I don't have one painted to show right now. I'll get you a casting of it and you can have your way with her. Also - hey I didn't mean to criticize the boobs, just don't get Jason sized on them! I think they look fine, size-wise now and I'm sure you're right about the corset.

I'd be happy to "Have my way with her!" ;D Lemme know what I need to do to get one bro! Consider me very intriged! I'd love to see it unpainted actually.

Here's the Catwoman head I have I think it is from the Tsukuda model from '92 but it might be the Horizon one. I don't know if this is enough neck for you. I usually work with the Cy Girl posts, not the Dragon girl one. It needs some clean-up work and then to be recasted. Are you using the Horizon gloves there Les or something else?

Horizon glove arm segments. I plan to cut loose the hands themselves and mount them to the adjustable hand posts and cover with a thin band of thin vinyl to blend. But, yeah, that's the parts I am using. I'll add some claws etc after.
I have a vinyl head from the Horizon kit, but is way too big for this body. It's from the second run of the models that were cast in PVC and for some reason, that version of the kit is almost 1/5 scale. Way too big. She has a basketball head when used on this body.
But, if your head is cast from the original black vinyl kit, it may be perfect. Then again, this Applause one is very 1/6 scale when next to all the others, so I am not sure whether to change it or not. Plus, I like the expression.
I'd have to have it in hand to really know one way or the other. Still, consider me interested.
