Initially I was shocked and blown away at the originality and design of your custom. Caught me totally off guard and it kinda remined me of being a kid, sitting in a theatre watching 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Knowing so many more cool creatures will be popping onto the screen. Every once & awhile FB stands up & shows us all who the "King" is, Excellent work FB.

Viewing your customs is like going to a classic car show and drooling over the autos of yesteryear and like a '59 Corvette, your '59 era Zero sets the mood for nastalgia and the glory of the past.
I assumed the head used here was an exsiting head which you painted up but knowing now that you actually sculpted the features which totally emlulates the look of the comic character, I have to express how impressed I am with your work on this sculpt.
The concept for the dome was perfect and very well done. I love the whole package idea with the tiny bonus playset, Classy set.
PS the background used in your pics is fantastic! much "cooler" then your couch.

Marty, I was pleasantly surprised as well as a little intimidated when i first viewed your entry, With the difficult design of the whole "collar thing" of this character I really didnt know what to expect from you but I have to say I am Floored! litterally!
I assumed that you sculpted the eyebrowes to their full potential here but after reading to inscript I know its just paint illusions.
Your Freeze gun is very cool, the rings on the barrel are great! Brilliant job on the entire custom, You have produced Otto as true to the show as anyone could possibly do. Congrats!

Each time I see one of your customs, 2 words come to mind "High Class" You seem to take toy parts & pieces, fuse them together, polish them until you have a Diamond. This Freeze is Ultra cool! I love the group shot and the Ice paltform. Superb!

Firstly I want to say how impressed I am that you even had time to enter this event, seeing as you are relatively new here. It took me a second or 2 to begin to realize the connections between the Animated along with the 66 TV show style and the more i looked the more I loved. Great entry and as others have mentioned, it would be awesome to see more 66 charaters done in this mannor. Top Job!

Stunning work my friend, why just the frosted tip of your gun with the ice hanging from it is better then my entire entry. I assumed that you were gonna do an arnold Freeze but believe me, I am NOT disapointed.
This original design is a mouth watering emsamble of coolness which would take way too long to describe. The head details is very chilling and the closer you look, the more you see. From the cracked looking flesh to the frozen eyeballs, the details are tremendous here. The Glass dome is a real touch of ellagance not useually found in this hobby & it places this figure in the ranks of a Franklin Mint exclusive collector's piece. I'd say "Unbelieveable" but you make it look SO Believeable. Ace job!
PS: You need to get a pattent on that gun dude, That's major!

What a treat indeed havin a Lady introduced into the fold, The paint work on the outter sleeves and throughout her costume are very clean & precise looking. You always manage to produce customs that look proffessional and attractive to look at. Beutiful entry.

I love you take on Freeze, you have blended a variety of elements from Mad Max to a Mech Warrior and all things scary in between. I love the concept of the crazy glue bottle for a screw-on dome, That is a stroke of brilliance! Stellar work my friend and the additional pic with batman pouncing is awesome! and much appreciated.

Your entry is just CREEPY dude. I would have prefered seeing something like this opposed to the refridgerated crap which they dressed Arnold up in.
I love the paintjob on the head, the blistering look of veins and perhaps severe frostbite looks totally organic.
I love the silver suit and your use of hoses.
The lighting effects of the head are pretty scary looking and nicely done. Too cool Broh.

It has become obvious that you have crossed the boundaries between Novice and Proffessional in the world of making custom action figures.
This Ultra clean looking entry looks like a mass produced toy and it's hard to believe that it is custom made. The shorts or upper sections of the pants are amazing looking!, so perfectly crafted. You did an excellent job fitting the dome to the shoulders, very proffessional looking.. Way ta go Kid.

Original concept, exceptional execution. I have to say that this design threw me for a loop...simply incredible in every way. The brilliant idea that exaggerates and heightens what is so central to the character really has blown me away here...and I think that the paint application is far superior than anything a company could ever produce. This is a twisted, haunting masterpiece.

You can always be counted on for capturing the pure essence of one of the strangest periods in comic history. Mr. Zero is such a delightful and accurate translation of the character's original incarnation. The fact that you even went so far as to include miniature versions of the character and an ice cream truck (!) warms my heart. There is an authentic feel to your customs...like they truly are collectibles from the past, to be admired and envied as incredible flea market finds. A great entry, one that reflects your unique approach to the Batman universe, and a great extension of your overall style.

I used to watch reruns of the '66 Batman show on YTV (a children's television network here in Canada). They would play two back to back episodes a night many years ago...but for the life of me I cannot remember ever seeing an episode with Mr. Freeze in any of his three incarnations. Which is whi I'm so excited to see this (and Will's) entries. This custom looks terrific...the cosutume detailing, the paint, the accessories...all have a gorgeous retro feel that captures the look of the character. The background looks really cool...like an old production set (which is appropriate). Can't wait to see him astride more Bat-characters in the future.

Clean as a whistle. That is the first thing that always strikes me about your work, and your Freeze entry is no exception. As usual, the precision of your sculpting and paint application supersedes any other steady hand on earth, and the design reflects both Timm's minimalist style and an amalgam of the best of the character's many looks. The similarity to his "Crisis" outfit is a positive in my eyes...the fact that it is stripped of any superfluous detail shows just how effective the design truly is.

I can only hope we will see this standing astride some of your other bat villains in a group shot someday. I love the crossover style here...I'm always amazed at your unique ability to use the animated aesthetic and translate other eras and designs so seamlessly into the animated world. The cleanliness and visual simplicity are striking as always.

....what can I say? I do not think I would offend anybody's sensibilities if I say that you have offered up the quintessential Freeze in this little showcase of ours. The realism, the thought behind every design and every choice of every piece of fodder is inspired. The German Officer's head is such a perfect selection for Victor...and the incredible paint application to the face that looks both painful and frighteningly realistic is yet another example of your unequalled abilities as an artist. This custom makes me lament even more the celluloid version of the character that WB crapped out...this truly is what Freeze should have been on film. The love for the character that Kevin professes that you have truly comes through in this piece...dare I say that it is your best custom to date (which is no small statement...you should be working for the movies)? Exceptional, Les...in every way.

You and Cason always blow my mind when it comes to creating clean-edged Timm-styled masterpieces. Dora is no exception...she's the first representation I've seen of the character in custom form, and sets the bar somewhere in the stratosphere for whatever poor soul tries to make the character next. I love the painted, two-dimensional details you've created with paint on the backpack and arms...it apes the actual appearance of the characters perfectly.

I knew you had some great design ideas in that head of yours...this Freeze is a frightening rendition of the character that combines a sci-fi sensibility with a punk fashion flare. The lightining mechanism suggests a dangerous tip towards the mechanized corruption of the character...he looks like a perfectly realized version of the character from some cyber-punk nightmare, as if you looked from specific reference material of a well- established design. An excellent custom in every way.

As always, you have fused a modern design with the retro-Mego style, only to produce something that the defunct company could only dream of releasing at the height of their business. The costume exhibits your well-established reputation for precision stitchwork. How you've managed to include every detail of the modern Freeze design into the simplified approach so characteristic of Mego baffles the mind...incredible work yet again Jason.

That is Eli Wallach!!! The likeness is unmistakable...what an incredible conversion you have executed. The retro sensibility of this character's incarnation is intact, and the costume looks like perfection to me. The kitbashing and alterations made to the various elements and accessories all create an incredible custom. Oh, and I must not forget to thank you for not only contributing, but hosting this party.

I first saw your work in toy Magazines, & wished Mattel/Hasbro would do their respective lines like you have done. Will- it was certainly worth the wait to see Eli Wallach suddenly standing before us. Hard to imagine that somewhere under there is a Grandpa Munster head cause all I see is 100% Eli! I love your sculpting style and the way it works with the Mego esthetic. You didn't miss a trick on the costume and I wish I could rummage around my house through junk and create a brilliant little freeze gun like you have done! Your love of the Batman TV show is evident with this piece, and I salute you for remembering Wallach in the role as he is so often neglected. That was a great story about Mrs. Wallach's comment by the way! Too funny- clever woman! Gee, if one of us had just done George Sanders all three of the TV Freezes would have made it!
