Hello, I finally had some time to mess with something today, & scince I got my Material in the Mail, had to go back to him. First of all, I wanted to share Russ's , Customslab, Boot feet. First time I have ever used them, for those of you who are familar with mego feet, they don't look full in a suit. I sewed the suit, & got Doc Mego to make me some Knight Armor in Yellow, did some cutting on the armor. I like how everything is turning out so far.

Looks good so far Jason. ;D Boy, that material really reflects! Makes me think of Jor-el in the first Superman Movie! I like the armor. That Dr. Mego really comes through! Can't wait to see him finished!

Shaping up nicely Jason. Your comments highlight for me what I think is a critical part of doing these customs right, an extra effort that is "invisible" in the results but important. The element I speak of is what we call at work "resource management". It's much easier to grab a bunch of stock parts and throw together a figure (although sometimes this is effective if the figure is simple) but when you start working on characters with complex needs such as this one you have to take greater effort. You have used various "suppliers" creatively. Replacing the feet with ones that are better equipped, and commisioning a plastic color from Doc Mego- both are clear signs that you are doing all that is possible to add quality to this project.

I'm jealous! ;D Jason seems to whip these up so quickly and effortlessly (even though I know he puts a lot of time and thought into them). Nice work at this early stage of the game Jason!

I remember being a young kid and looking in either Lee's or Tomart's and seeing a huge article on MEGO toys and how badly I wished they were still around today. I always love seeing Mego customs, and I'm sure this one will be great!

Jason, your seamster skillz are absolutly top notch. The stitchin workmanship in and around the waist area and throught the body suit are so proffessional looking. At the incredibly fast rate which you bang customs out combined with the great jobs you do , you would probably do very well if you were to offer your services for jumpsuits. Just an observation, you are That great! Armour looks great! cant wait to see more colors added to this one. Will
