Saw this new "Infantino" head sculpt that is allegedly in the Aurora scale so that means Mego compatible. Made by Tony Whittaker - it is still rough and unfinished.

That looks pretty cool, what Batman style would this be considered?

This is regarded as the mid 1960s 'New Look'. Kinda how people expected the actual Aurora head to look but it never really came out quite right. This does look nice. The stuff that the Warner Brothers Stores did a few years back was of the Infantino look too. Not unlike how he looked in the Filmation animated show of 1968. A very appealling version of the character for me anyhow.

A very appealling version of the character for me anyhow. For me too Marty. That was right in the era where I read the most comics as a kid and saw all of Carmine's and Murphy Anderson's great work. The way he drew Batman was my favorite as a kid and I love seeing that brought to life now. Especially for that Aurora model which would look great done with this head. At the time, I didn't know it was the "new look" for Batman. To me - some comics had him with the yellow oval around the bat and some didn't. I used to covet the ones that did. Later on I learned the history and how Julius Schwarz's and Jeanette Kahn's decisions to revamp costumes impacted our youth! I have all the WB store renderings that were available right before they closed the stores down. -S

Very, very nice head sculpt. Amazing thing is, he has such drama from so many different angles. Looks terrific!
