I know! I know! It'll be a car for the Banana Split Gang!
*cricket*
*cricket*
(Does anyone besides me remember them?)
Sing it with me now. "1 banana, 2 banana, 3 banana, 4..."
I'll be quiet now.
I know it'll be a rockin' Batmobile or something else cool.

Drooper, Fleagle, Bingo and Snorky! Tra-la-la-la-la-la-la! Tra-la-la-la-la-la-la!
That would be cool, but the Banana Splits' cars were more like dune buggies!!

If you get the old GI Joe six wheeled adventure vehicle, (I had one as a kid...dagnabbit!) now that could make for a Banana Splits ride!
Now, just what is this car for? Looks like a Batmobile in the works to me....

The Banana Splits actually drove AmphiCats. These were also used in SPACE:1999. For those Mego collectors amongst you check out the Action Jackson AmphiCat as it is exactly what was used to travel "Over Hill And Highway" by the Banana Splits. Sorry to sound like such a dweeb but I have actually just finished a major article about the vehicles for a magazine I often work for, Cinema Retro. (By the way! I love THE BANANA SPLITS and have a whole 'bunch' of them on tape. I also have the UK annual and the View-Master reels too. You are not alone in your admiration of the classic show Cas!) I'm reckoning a pretty neat looking Batmobile is on the way Will!! I would guess the 1964 Corvette style vehicle which superceded the earlier sedan style with the glass dome top.

Okay, Martin knows WAY too much about Banana Splits than is healthy! But at least I have suceeded in my evil plan: all of you will be humming the theme song for the rest of the day. Bwa-ha-ha! Of course, so am I, dagnabbit. (Sorry to sidetrack the thread, Will.) C.

I can't get that theme out of my head now. Thanks really. No. REally. ;D (Love that shot of the monkey in the car...he was my favorite, whatever his name was...(was he Chongo?)....something about that grin... ;D ..that was a fun show...and I was right...that was the old GI JOE Adventure ride...) So, uh...what's the car for Will? It's not a customizer's rorshach test is it? you see where that got you...

Great shot marty, really takes me way back boy-o-boy! I used to love the over the top sound effects on the show when they would run around bumpin into shit. ;D Is that series available on DVD these days? Long custom car, caped masked figure. Will
