This is a commision which is taking a long time but is nearing completetion very soon. Sid was The bass player from The Sex Pistols who died of a drug overdose at the age of 21. Before his death he was to stand trial for the murder of his Girlfriend Nancy. This was an early wip shot which I took. I super imposed hair onto the image to get an idea of what he might look like. Since this picture was taken, some facial features had been altered and some tweaking done, he has been molded and cast and will be the subject of "adding hair to a figure" in the "How-To" section of the board, very very soon. Next picture is Sid's infamous Lether jacket which I sculpted from scratch and will make a thin black latex copy from it, I will do a seperate "How-to" on that subject. Will

Good work. There is a company producing these officially now but your figure looks like it is gonna easy match them. Their version is cartoon-like as Sid appeared in the animated sections of THE GREAT ROCK N ROLL SWINDLE. Don't forget the chain and padlock around the neck and the swastika T shirt. I am a big fan and saw them play about ten years back, without Sid obviously, they were the greatest and it made me feel a teenager again. Good job as always mate.

Very cool! I'm a big Sex Pistols fan! Any plans for Johnny Rotten? My customer and I have discussed a Rotten as well as a Nancy, but I am taking so long with ol Sid here, my Customer may not have the patience to wait for any others. Marty, I have seen the Sid doll which you mentioned, My Customer has that but he wanted me to make him a more realistic version with pimples blemishes and track marks so there ya go. Thanks for the comments everyone, I can't wait to get him completed. Will

Duriny the past week, I have painted Sid, and tackled the job of molding his jacket. Just the molding of this jacket was a very trying process mostly in theory but once I figured out how to do it..... I did it. So now the 2 piece mold which was a 4 stage process is made and Friday I picked up a brand new batch of Latex so I can hardly wait to return from my weekend and try casting one. I'm sure I will have some pics to show you folks by mid week. Will Will
