Um...YES! I'd be interested. Let us know the facts! I understand they are due out in August though. The Medicom that is, not this DC Direct. Your saying this buddy of your's has some? In hand? Now? hmmm.... Even he can't get them much cheaper than Medicom sells them for which I am betting is about $150-175 US? I was after the Medicom Darth Vader and it is about that same range. I have noticed on Ebay that the cheapest prices are somewhat more for this Batman however. Maybe by about $10 to $20 or more on average. I wonder why? But, let us know stuff! ;D And Andy...HA! You do know how I think Mr. Down Under Man, you! ;D EVERY out of box figure is a potential source for an even better figure! Always! ...Except this Medicom Batman....it looks pretty good as is... at this point anyway...but...one never knows...does one? ;D

Here are some pics here of my DC Deluxe figure that shows his details for OUR kinds of interests. Maybe this will help answer some questions... I have taken off the head and cape and show the posability, this is limited compared to a Sideshow or Dragon body, and I show all the accessories and the stand he comes with. I hate the neck. I think the top cap with the ball and post could be cut off whole and adapted to a BBI body neck and you would get a fully posable neck that would allow more complex up and down, side to side posing. He can't do that now, but has the softer rubber cowl material that might allow for it. The armor all can be pulled straight off. The suit under has a zipper. The boots pull straight off, as do the gauntlets. The hands practically jump off. Both sets. The cape is not hearly wide enough. It should be a lot fuller and squared around than the limited bat-shape it is. But, is has a nice inner and outer texture. That's an 18 inch long ruler there on it. And Dave, this is about all he can do pose-wise... All this is somewhat informative. Maybe you can see more details this way. I'll have mine broken down and shifted over in a week or so. And yes, I did repaint the face. As best I could. The cowl does require fine sanding to match the texture of the rest of the body. Hope this helps you guys decide. ;D Les PS: I did the pics Will! By George, I think he's got it!

I do and i look forward to your modifications! :oI understand what you're saying too,i look at figures more these days as what they could be rather than what they are.It just becomes a standard mindset.

Yeah.
And, I actually think we as customizers are changing the way the industry is making figures. This particular one shows me that in several ways. The armor bits "floating" on the flexible suit underneath, the flex wire in the seams of the cape, etc. They are watching and reworking the newer figures to match this kind of approach that we didn't see before our kind got into this. We are making a difference I believe. Slowly, but surely anyway.

Quote Les " PS: I did the pics Will! By George, I think he's got it!" Thats wonderful Les, although I was always happy to assist in your picture posting when I was able. Learning to post your own pics will give you so much more freedom and I know you will excercise that freedom and make this place very colorful. Knock yerself out pal. and congrats. Will
